Intermission …

Things are happening and not happening.  Thus, a blog intermission.

kayleigh is taking off on a business trip next week.  A business trip.  WTF.   And this is the first of three or four by the end of the year.

I am going away this weekend for an overnight  jaunt I’m not exactly enthusiastic about.  With a cold.

Absence, the saying goes, makes the heart grow fonder.

No, absence makes the heart hurt.  And nervous.  And lonely.  And cranky.

Very cranky.
