Hugo Awards 2008

August 10, 2008

… are out.

No surprise that Michael Chabon’s The Yiddish Policeman’s Union won the novel category. It won this year’s Nebula and Sidewise Awards.  Chabon is also the featured author this month in Locus (which has how many Hugo Awards now for fanzine?).

John Scalzi won for best fan writer, and lost the novel category by nine votes, apparently, for The Last Colony.
